This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and market research purposes only. It does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quotation (RFQ), or a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. This notice does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Furthermore, the Government is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondees are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this Sources Sought Notice; all costs associated with responding to this notice will be solely at the interested party�s expense. The Contractor shall be responsible for the successful repair and continued maintenance of the Lectromelt 5-Ton EAF, IAW attachment 0001 RIPD 5-Ton Repair. Interested parties are requested to submit a Capabilities Statement demonstrating their ability to perform the services described above. The submission should include the following: Company Profile: Company Name, Address, and Point of Contact (Name, Title, Phone, Email). CAGE Code and Unique Entity ID (UEI). Business Size and Socioeconomic Status (e.g., Small Business, 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB) under the applicable NAICS code. Capability & Experience: A brief narrative describing your company�s capability to repair and maintain Lectromelt Electric Arc Furnaces (specifically 5-Ton models). Proof of prior history and ability to meet the strict 48-hour on-site response requirement at Rock Island Arsenal, IL. Examples of similar past performance (Commercial or Government) including contract numbers, scope, and dollar value.
