Description
BACKGROUND Facilities & Site Services (F&SS) at Idaho National Laboratory is planning to host an Industry Discovery Forum to engage with industry partners and provide early visibility into upcoming F&SS projects. This event aligns with INLs ongoing commitment to collaborating with qualified vendors, strengthening competition, and expanding awareness of future opportunities. During this onsite forum, vendors will receive presentations covering anticipated scope needs, project timelines, and general requirements for upcoming electrical Transmission and Distribution (T&D) infrastructure improvement projects managed by F&SS. The purpose of this EOI is to gauge interest and develop a list of vendors who would like to attend the INL Industry Discovery Forum. F&SS intends to use a design-build project execution strategy and is seeking participation from experienced T&D engineering firms and constructor teams. INLs desert site is powered by a DOE-owned 138 kV transmission system that steps down to distribution voltages across multiple complexes. The system has been in service for more than 75 years, and as INLs mission grows, significant reliability and infrastructure projects are required to strengthen the system for future load demands. PURPOSE OF THIS EOI The purpose of this Expression of Interest is to identify vendors interested in attending the Industry Discovery Forum. The event will include: Presentations on the T&D Infrastructure Program from F&SS INL power management and subject matter experts High-level overviews of anticipated FY26-FY31 project work Opportunities for vendors to ask questions and understand capabilities needed for future work An overview of applicable INL site requirements, including access, safety expectations, and (as appropriate) Davis-Bacon and SSA applicability Focused discussions related to T&D needs and associated support service EVENT DETAILS **Limited space available attendance is by invite only** The forum will include a half-day of presentations and breakout meetings, to be held at the INL complex in Idaho Falls in mid-June 2026 VENDOR RESPONSE REQUESTED Interested vendors should submit the following: Company name and primary point of contact Description of services your company provides in support of F&SS needs Number of representatives requesting to attend Summary of your relevant capabilities and resources Vendors must register and submit their information through the INL Vendor Portal After submitting via the portal, please send a notification email to inlvendorportal@inl.gov DISCLAIMER This EOI is not a request for proposal, quote, or bid. Participation in the Industry Discovery Forum does not guarantee future contracting opportunities. All future procurement actions will follow INLs established acquisition processes and may be posted through the INL Vendor Portal and SAM.gov. Attendance at this event does not guarantee inclusion on any future solicitation lists.
