We are seeking information for market research purposes only. The Government will not pay for any information solicited. The VHA Network Contracting Office 6 (NCO 6) is conducting a market survey to find qualified vendors who can provide the following services for the Department of Veterans Affairs, Asheville VA Medical Center (VAMC), 1100 Tunnel Rd, Asheville, NC 28805: DESCRIPTION OF ITEM QUANTITY ITEM/DESCRIPTION CD/DVD BURNER SYSTEM ONSITE INSTALLATION AND TRAINING Please Note: Please refer to Salient Characteristics and the Statement of Work. The NAICS 334610 is applicable to this acquisition; with a size standard of 1,250 EMPLOYEES Interested firms are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.1201(a) Prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications at the System for Award Management (SAM) as a part of required registration in conjunction with FAR 4.1102(a) that states, Prospective contractors shall be registered in the (SAM) database prior to award of a contract or agreement. Therefore, due to time constraints, vendors will be required to be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov to be considered for an award. Your response is required by 1:00 PM EDT, MARCH 12, 2026 SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS CD/DVD BURNER SYSTEM Brand Name or equal to: Sorva Vertex 25ei Ability to burn both CD and DVD Media Support for standard formats such as CD-R, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R, etc.) Ability to burn a minimum disc capacity of 100 per day Embedded PC/Controller included with the system to include preloaded software Software must be integrated with VA PACS System and be DICOM Compliant Must have ability to import, index, and merge DICOM images into PACS as well as burn them to media Must create custom labels based on VA needs Must offer encryption and anonymization capabilities for exported media consistent with data protection / HIPPA requirements Must supply a preconfigured workstation with mouse, keyboard, and monitor that meet VA network and OS system requirements. OS System should be a minimum of Windows 11. Must offer a minimum of 1 year warranty period with support service included. Must offer on-site installation, configuration, and training for VA personnel included.
