Description
THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. It does not constitute a request for quote (RFQ) or request for proposal (RFP), or a promise to issue an RFQ or RFP in the future. The information provided in the RFI is subject to change and is not binding on the Government. The Air Force has not made a commitment to procure any of the services discussed, and release of this RFI should not be construed as such a commitment or as authorization to incur cost for which reimbursement would be required or sought. Respondents are advised that the U.S. Government is under no obligation to provide feedback with respect to any information submitted. Air Force representatives may or may not choose to meet with interested vendors. Such discussions would only be intended to get further clarification of potential technical capability to meet the requirements, especially any development and certification risks. The Air Force seeks information on the capabilities of interested contractors in the technical and program management areas, described in the attachment, to facilitate Market Research for an intended competition. Mobile Command and Control Systems (MC2S) Branch has the responsibility of acquiring and sustaining mobile C2 systems in support of the U.S. Air Force and Department of Defense. The MC2S Branch is conducting market research through this RFI. Please see the attachment "MC2S Sources Sought Request for Information" for full details on the information requested in responses to this notice.
