The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, on behalf of the Naval Sea Systems Command, has issued solicitation, N00178-18-R-7000, for SeaPort-Next Generation (NxG), the replacement to SeaPort-e. This is a full and open competitive requirement to award Multiple Award Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity contracts (MAC IDIQ) in order for SeaPort-NxG MAC holders to compete for future task order awards. The NAICS code for this procurement is 541330 (exception for marine engineering and naval architecture); the revenue size standard for Small Business is $38.5 Million. The Government intends to make award to each and all qualifying offerors. Awards will be made on initial offers without discussions. In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Offerors may obtain information on registration in SAM by calling 866-606-8220, or via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov. FBO is the single point of entry for posting of the solicitation and any amendments or announcements; interested offerors should monitor the FBO page regularly. Further, Industry is reminded that it is this formal solicitation that will govern any official acquisition. Proposals are due 02 July 2018 no later than 2:00 p.m. ET. Questions regarding solicitation N00178-18-R-7000 must be submitted to the SeaPort-NxG mailbox seaportnextgen.fct@navy.mil. Only questions submitted to this mailbox will be addressed; no questions will be taken by phone. The offeror must include the company name in the subject line of the email. The questions should include the page number and paragraph number or identifier, which pertains to the offeror's question. It is requested that all questions be received by 11 June 2018. NOTE: The proposal mailboxes described in the solicitation, page 56, under Section L, subparagraph 2.1, are solely for the purpose of submitting proposals in response to the solicitations.
