Description

The 502 Contracting Squadron, US Air Force, Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) formally announces the intent to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract on a sole-source basis to the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN). The purpose of this contract is to procure the Periop 101: A Core Curriculum OR Course, which is required for the training of Air Force Perioperative Nursing (AFPON) course students. This commercial purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures as authorized by RFO 12.201-1. The Contracting Officer has determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available to fulfill this government requirement. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotes. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit, in writing, complete information describing their ability to provide the exact curriculum and certification training listed above. Deadline for Capability Statements: 5 August 2026, 4:00 PM EST. Anticipated Award Date:15 August 2026 A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
