Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2026-01, effective 30 January 2026. This requirement is a 100% small business set-aside. The associated NAICS code is 333310, which has a size standard of 1,000 employees. All interested parties must be registered as a small business under this NAICS code in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) to be considered for award. 1.0 Description of Requirement The 177th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron (AMXS) Weapons Flight requires the purchase of one (1) Ultrasonic Parts Washer. This equipment is essential for cleaning components during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on the MAU-12 Bomb Rack, TER-9A Triple Ejector Rack, and the M61A1 Vulcan Cannon Gun System. 2.0 Technical Requirements / Salient Characteristics-Reference Attachment 2 3.0 Instructions, Conditions, and Notices to Offerors-Reference Attachment 1 The full text of FAR provisions or clauses may be accessed electronically at https://www.acquisition.gov 4.1 Submission of Quotes Interested parties shall submit a quote to the 177th Fighter Wing Contracting Office via email at 177fw.contracting.org@us.af.mil. Quotes must be received no later than the response date and time listed in the solicitation. Any questions or concerns regarding this solicitation shall be forwarded in writing via e-mail to the Contract Specialist and the Contracting Officer. All questions are due no later than 12:00 PM (Noon) EST on 6 March 2026. Your quote must include: Pricing Technical specifications of the proposed product are sufficient to determine technical acceptability against the requirements in Section 2.0. This may include product literature, technical datasheets, or other documents. If offering an "or equal" product, vendors must include a side-by-side comparison chart detailing how your product meets or exceeds each salient characteristic listed in Section 2.0. Confirmation of the required delivery schedule. Company Name, Address, CAGE Code, and UEI. 4.2 FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors�Commercial Products and Commercial Services (NOV 2025) This solicitation will result in only one (1) award. Responsive offerors shall have current representations and certifications in SAM.gov. 5.0 Evaluation and Award 5.1 FAR 52.212-2 ADDENDUM, Evaluation-Commercial Products and Commercial Services (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: (i) Technical Capability: Technical capability of the supplies offered to meet the Government requirements per the purchase description in Section 2.0. Offers� technical description of the supplies shall be in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance. (ii) Price: Price will be evaluated to determine if it is fair, reasonable, and balanced. The Government may determine that an offer is unacceptable if prices are significantly unbalanced. Unrealistically low offered prices may be grounds for rejection. (b) Evaluation procedures at FAR Part 13 will be used. The Government may award to other than the lowest-priced offer. (c) A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer, mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party.
