USCGC Polar Star is requesting the transportation and delivery of 2,100 gallons of Shell Gadinia 40W Lube Oil to: USCGC POLAR STAR PIER: TBD Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam, HI Delivery would be made via truck utilizing a 50-100 Foot 2 Inch camlock hose. An Over The Water Certificate will be made available upon vendor determination.The vendor is responsible for providing 600FT of boom and placing around the ship prior to striking on the oil. Request for delivery for time period of December 02, 2025. Determiniation will be made via LPTA (Lowest Price Technically Acceptable). Funds are not currently available; the funds availability clause (FAR Part 52.232-18) Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government�s obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. Bona Fide Need Rule (31 USC 1502) applies: The balance of an appropriation or fund limited for obligation to a definite period is available only for payment of expenses properly incurred during the period of availability, or to complete contracts properly made within that period of availability and obligated consistent with section 1501 of this title.
