The purpose for this this Sources Sought Notice is for the following: a. The purpose for this Sources Sought Announcement is for market research ONLY and information received from this notice will determine the type of solicitation (i.e. Restricted or as a Set-aside). b. Interested Parties must send their responses to Durba Ray, Contracting Officer at Durba.Ray@dot.gov; by the deadline in this Notice which are listed below and were provided in the original Notice. This is a Sources Sought announcement for water supply services utility for the United States Merchant Marine Academy 300 Steamboat Road Kings, Point, NY 11024. I am seeking a company that may provide the �entire requirement for USMMA. Questionnaire: 1. Is your firm capable of providing sewer services, either as a prime contractor or as a subcontractor? 2. What is your business size? The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this service is 926130 and the small business size standard is 250 employees. 3. If you are not a small business, what percentage level of subcontracting, if any, would be available for the service you are interested in providing? 4. Is your firm eligible for participation in one of the following small business programs? If so, indicate the program? 8(a) Development Program Women-owned small business concern Veteran-owned small business concern Service-disabled veteran-owned small business concern 5. Please provide a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) unit prices for future contract periods (example: contract with 5 years of performance periods)? 6. Do you have a GSA contract for water supply Utility services that can be utilized for all locations as identified in the attachment? If so, provide the contract number or any other GSA contract that meets this requirement. 7. How many calendar days will your firm need to prepare an offer resulting from this solicitation when issue? 8. Are the services provided by your firm regulated by the Public Utility Commission? If not, please provide an explanation of how rate structures are determined and name of the authority making the determination? 9. Provide the following information in reference to your firm: 1. Regulatory Compliance- Are you licensed and authorized to operate in New York State? Can you provide copies or references to applicable licenses or certifications? 13. Can you prove an estimated cost for 5 years of services for this requirement for market research purposes. 14. All responses to the Sources Sought questionnaires must be submitted by February 6, 2026, 1pm EST.
