Description

This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for commercial items, Army Contracting command-Redstone Arsenal intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price Purchase Order for the following: Fire and Emergency Services Division, Directorate of Emergency Services (DES), has a L/H/S requirement to support mission critical testing and development ranges on Redstone Arsenal. The test ranges have inherent dangers due to the nature and type of testing. Often these tests cause grass and wildland fires involving the Wildland Urban Interface, Protected Wetlands, and the Wheeler National Wildlife Refuge. The 6x6 Utility Vehicle (UTV) is the best tool DES has found to both fight fire and reduce the impact on natural vegetation and habitat. This requirement is in accordance with (IAW) National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, and Army Installation Wildland Fire Program Implementation Guidance. See the attached Purchase Description. Offerors shall provide the unit price for each item and total amount, to include shipping charges and any additional discounts. Price quotes shall include: � Company Name � Street Address � City, State, and Zip � Remittance Address � Federal Tax ID Code # � CAGE Code � Business Size � Estimated Delivery Date � Discount Terms There shall be no partial deliveries. The Government requires delivery within 30 days after date of order to the following address: Organization: Directorate of Emergency Services ATTN: AMIM-REL-F Building 3545 Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898 Email: michael.l.statton.civ@army.mil Evaluation for award: The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) delivery order to the offeror whose quote is the lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) that meets product and delivery requirements in accordance with this RFQ. In order to be determined technically acceptable, potential vendors must submit technical specifications that meet the minimum requirements as described in the Purchase Description. Contractors must be capable of accepting electronic fund payment for this procurement.
