Description

The Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV) platform, to include the ACV Personnel Variant (ACV-P), ACV Command and Control Variant (ACV-C), and ACV-30mm Medium Caliber Cannon (ACV-30) vehicle chassis are currently being produced by BAE Systems Land & Armaments LP (BAE), along with initial design of the vehicle chassis for the ACV-Recovery (ACV-R) Production Representative Test Vehicle, under contract M67854-16-C-0006. The Turret for the ACV-30 is currently being manufactured by Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace (KDA). The ACV-30 employs KDA�s PROTECTOR Series Remote Turret � 20 (RT-20). The RT-20 is a gyro-stabilized design for remote operation and is equipped with advanced day and thermal imaging sensors, an eye-safe laser range finder, and an automatic weather station. This Sources Sought Notice constitutes market research in accordance with FAR Part 10 and is not an RFP. The Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) is issuing this Sources Sought Notice, in support of Program Executive Officer Land Systems, to determine if more than one vendor is capable of performing the effort described within this notice. NOTE: THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This Sources Sought Notice is for planning and informational purposes only and shall NOT be considered as a Request for Proposal (RFP) or as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. The Government will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred in responding to this Sources Sought Notice or furnishing the requested information. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise because of a contractor�s submission of a response to this Sources Sought Notice or the Government's use of such information. The Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any Contractor's input resulting from this Sources Sought Notice. No contract will be awarded because of this announcement. Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The due date for responses to this notice is 19 December 2025 at 2:00PM, Local Time. This is not a Request for Proposal and no solicitation currently exists.
