Description

This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued for market research purposes only. This announcement does not constitute a solicitation, and no contract will be awarded from this RFI. The 374th Contracting Squadron at Yokota Air Force Base, Japan, is seeking information from potential sources capable of providing Initial Drinking Water Compliance Monitoring Services for Municipal Water at SFHA and SGD Japan. All work is expected to be performed in Japan in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and applicable regulations. The Government is seeking industry feedback to determine the best acquisition strategy and to identify capable vendors. All interested and qualified sources are encouraged to respond. All information submitted will be used for planning purposes. The Government will consider all information received solely to determine whether a competitive procurement is appropriate. The decision to compete this requirement remains entirely at the discretion of the Government. Interested parties must comply with the following: 1. The contractor shall possess all required and applicable permits for the �Suishitsu Kensa Kikan Touroku (????????)� under the Water Supply Act or �Kenchikubutsu Inryousui Suishitsu Kensagyou (???????????)� under the Act on Maintenance of Sanitation in Buildings mandated by Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare. Please note that these permits need to be met by the prime contractor. 2. Qualifications for Drinking Water Analysis other than PFAS Analysis. The analysis shall be performed at laboratory(s) certified/accredited/qualified by one of the programs below for each analytical method. - State laboratory certification program in U.S. - DoD Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program - International program such as International organization for Standardization/International Electrotechnical Commission (ISO/IEC) 17025:2017 (General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories). Interested vendors are requested to submit information supporting their eligibility Note 1: This project will be performed in its entirety in the country of Japan. The successful offeror must have valid licenses to meet the requirement in the country of Japan. Offerors must have a Japanese CAGE code.
