Description

The Department of the Air Force, Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), Air Warfare Directorate (RA), hereby provides notice of its intent to issue a focused call under the active Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) entitled, �Pioneering Aerospace Capabilities, Engineering & Research (PACER)� (Solicitation Number FA2391-23-S-2403). This anticipated call will solicit innovative solutions for rapid maturation and demonstration of hypersonic weapon concepts capable of sustained Mach 5 flight and >500 nm range with no specific payload requirement. Offerors are encouraged to consider modular open systems architectures (MOSA), together with aggressive application of digital engineering and advanced manufacturing techniques (e.g., printing/growing complex propulsion flow paths as a single piece).
