Umpqua NF Asbestos Abatement

Description

This project involves: Removal of asbestos from 4 locations on the Umpqua National Forest. Two buildings are located within the Tiller Ranger Station compound. The third location is located 21 miles east of Cottage Grove at Layng Creek, and the fourth location is at Diamond Lake Recreation Area. The contractor is required to be an Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ)licensed asbestos abatement contractor following Oregon Administrative Rules 340, Division 248 The solicitation will NOT be available for download on SAM.GOV. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued. Per RFO 12.201-1(c)(2), the Government intends to directly solicit quotations from at least three sources on the Oregon DEQ Licensed Asbestos Abatement Contractor list, however all responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the Agency. The contract period of performance will be 90 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed, estimated for July 27, 2026. Performance (above $150,000) and Payment Bonds (above $35,000) 100% each will be required of the successful awardee. Note: Per FAR 52.204-7(b)(1), System for Award Management (SAM), an Offeror is required to be registered in SAM when submitting an offer and shall continue to be registered until time of award, during performance, and through final payment for any contract resulting from this solicitation.
