Description
THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 17, 1901 Veterans Memorial Dr, Temple, TX 76504 and 4800 Memorial Dr, Waco, TX 76711 intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a single, firm fixed price contract for Construction Services. The solicitation will be issued on SAM.gov on or about November 6, 2025, and will include the Statement of Work, Drawings and Specifications. There will be a pre-bid site visit; information and specifics to follow with the solicitation. Project Details: The Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) has identified the need to replace the cart elevators from the basement floor to the second floor of the main clinical building (163). The goal is to improve workflow between the SPS and Surgery departments. Since this is a 24-hour healthcare facility, some elements of the work may require after-hour and weekend work. The work will need to be phased and completed on one floor at a time. Period of Performance: 270 days after Notice to Proceed (NTP) is issued. SET-ASIDE: 100% SDVOSB NAICS: 238290, size standard $22M Magnitude of Construction: Between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000 Questions regarding this opportunity will not be answered prior to the release of the solicitation. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Apparent successful offerors must have a current VETS 4212 report on file with the Department of Labor; be registered in SAM; and be registered in the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) MySBA Certfications at the time of submission of proposal. Failure to be both verified by the SBA and visible on the SBA s Dynamic Small Business Search as an SDVOSB https://dsbs.sba.gov/search/dsp_dsbs.cfm at the time of proposal submission will result in the proposal being deemed non-responsive.
