Description
NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Firm Fixed Price construction contract for the Unmanned Fusion Warfare Laboratory (UFWL) Project for Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane, Indiana. W912QR24F0224 SPECIAL NOTICE: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Louisville District (USACE) will be soliciting proposals for the construction of the Unmanned Fusion Warfare Laboratory (UFWL) Project for Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane, Indiana. As part of the construction contract solicitation, USACE intends to include the following sole source requirements: Brand Name Sole Source � Lockmasters lock system that includes electrified door locks manufacture by Schlage. The government will not purchase the lock system equipment directly, but rather brand name specifications will be included in the design bid build solicitation that will lead to a new firm fixed price (FFP) construction contract. The construction contract is planned to be awarded under a full and open solicitation, using FY25 NISE-CIP Funding. The lock system for use on the UFWL project for NSWC Crane, Indiana is produced by Lockmasters. *This is not a solicitation for competitive proposals; however, if any interested party believes that they can meet the above requirement, they may submit a capability statement to the point of contact listed in this Special Notice. All information furnished must be in writing and must contain sufficient detail to allow USACE to be able to determine if the interested party can perform the requirement described herein. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. The submission must be received no later than 10:00 AM ET on 05 November 2025 to chase.j.rost@usace.army.mil.
