Description

Notice of Intent for Sole Source The purpose of this announcement is to provide notice that the Department of the Interior � National Park Service intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order to Davinroy Mechanical Contractor, Inc. for Backflow Replacement at Gateway Arch National Park in Saint Louis, Missouri. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 238220 - Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors - with a small business size standard of $19.0M. This procurement is being conducted using Simplified Acquisition Procedures soliciting from a single source authorized by FAR Part 13. The Contracting Office hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source contract to Davinroy Mechanical Contractor, Inc. for the services required. The Contracting Officer has determined that the circumstances of urgent and compelling for the contract action deem only one source reasonably available due to the nature of the requirement, and no other sources will be able to satisfy agency requirements. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement which will be considered by the agency. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government to utilize competition will be based upon responses received because of this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government.
