Description
This is a SOURCES SOUGHT announcement issued for informational and market research purposes only. This is not a Request for Quotation (RFQ) or a solicitation for proposals. The Government will not award a contract based on this notice, nor will it pay for any information submitted. The Department of the Air Force at Joint Base Langley-Eustis (JBLE), Virginia, is seeking information from businesses capable of performing a comprehensive hazardous materials (HAZMAT) survey. The survey will focus on identifying asbestos and lead-based paint within Dodd Hall (Facility 448), a 9,617 sq. ft., two-story building with a basement, slated for future demolition. The objective is to assess the scope and potential cost of remediation. The work will involve an initial site assessment, destructive testing to sample materials, laboratory analysis, and the delivery of a final comprehensive report. This report will detail all findings, quantify contaminated materials, and provide a cost analysis for remediation. The performance period is 30 days from the notice to proceed. This requirement is being considered as a small business set-aside. The designated NAICS code is 562910 (Remediation Services), which has a size standard of $25 million. Interested and capable firms are invited to respond to this Sources Sought notice by submitting a capabilities package.
