Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a fixed price purchase order, on a sole source basis, to Bauer (CAGE 70882) for the procurement of approximately one (1) Tire Inflator and Safety Cage (NSN 4910-01-513-2979, P/N: 5871-102) in support for the V-22 Osprey Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (GOJ/JGSDF) MV-22B Block C Tiltrotor Aircraft Program under Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Cases JA-P-QML. Bauer, Inc. is the Original Equipment Manufacturer and owns the proprietary data for this part. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate this requirement under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1). THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for an award of a contract.
