Description

The United States Space Force (USSF) requires a remote control solution to operate existing K-Mount optical tracking systems. The objective is to make these mounts remote-capable, allowing them to be placed inside a facility where personnel cannot be present. While a viable commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) solution is available, minor modifications will be necessary to ensure full integration with the existing K-Mount optical tracking systems. NOTE: Must provide scale drawing or picture and the system must interface with the L3 Brashear digital control system. Proposals shall demonstrate proven performance or the technical capacity to modify software libraries to ensure full compatibility to be considered fully responsive. The applicable NAICS code for this acquisition is 334118, and the applicable PSC is 7490. This acquisition will be made as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside, with a size standard of 1,000 employees. The Offeror agrees to hold firm for 30 calendar days from the date specified for receipt of quotes. To assure timely and equitable evaluation of the quote, the offeror must follow the instructions contained herein. The quote must be complete, self-sufficient, and respond directly to the requirements of this solicitation. By providing a quote, the offeror is certifying that they shall provide the products that meet the requirements specified in Attachment 1 Salient Characteristics.
