Description
SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE Building 8 elevator repair VETERANS AFFAIRS MEDICAL CENTER SALEM, VA 24153 Secure the elevator in building 8 and once secured as appropriate, adjust and shorten the cable ropes for the elevator as appropriate. Upon completion of the adjustments, all necessary checks are to be performed, and the elevator is to be placed back into service. The Contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, and qualified supervision as necessary to perform work as described. If parts need replacement, the contractor will check with engineering personnel before such replacements are made. All contractors will abide by VA safety standards, including but not limited to LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) and are to provide their own safety equipment, locks, and tags. The elevator system is a safety and handicap access matter important to the continued care for the veterans. Work occurs inside of the building and in the attic spaces. All respondents shall indicate/provide the following: A copy of its capabilities statement. Failure to provide the above information may result in the potential offeror being considered incapable of meeting the VA s needs. Responses to this sources sought notice should include the following: name and address of company, business size (large or small): Please identify your companies socioeconomic categories-8(a), HUBZone, Services Disabled Veteran-Owned/Veteran-Owned Small Business, other small, small or large; provide a brief description of qualifications and any other pertinent information which demonstrates the ability to meet the above requirement.
