Description
The Federal Protective Service Acquisitions Division intends to issue a sole source extension of up to two months to the current ordering period of an existing indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity type contract, 70RFP219DEC000012, with KR Contracting, Inc., 233 N Prospect Street, Suite 105, Hagerstown, MD 21740-3779. This proposed extension will provide for continued protective security officer services at various locations in Washington, DC to allow time for the mandatory transition period for the follow-on effort for these services. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis with KR Contracting, Inc. under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) as implemented by RFO FAR Subpart 6.103-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A Request for Proposal (RFP) will not be made available. A Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition will be posted to sam.gov following award. The applicable North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 561612 (Security Guards and Patrol Services) and the Small Business Size Standard is $29 million.
