No proposals or quotes are being requested or accepted with this notice. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS or QUOTES and NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS NOTICE. This notice shall NOT be construed as solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Responses to this notice is not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation. The Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16 is seeking preferably Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses, Veterans Owned Small Businesses, or Small Businesses (but will accept other than small business for market research purposes), capable of providing Delivery Food Carts for the Overton Brooks VA Medical Center, Shreveport, Louisiana, per the DRAFT statement of work below. The NAICS code is 333241 Food product machinery manufacturing, and the Size Standard is 500 employees. Please provide a capability statement as well as any relevant literature addressing your organization s ability to supply the required items. Please additionally provide a product specification sheet for the items. Must provide an authorized distributor letter if not MFR. � Also, please include a point of contact name & phone number within email. Responses must be received by no later than 10:00 a.m. Central Standard Time, March 25, 2026. Responses shall be emailed to tiffany.conner@va.gov. Capabilities Statements to include UIE number. Lockable sliding door latch that ensures secure transport and prevents unauthorized access to patient meals (1 per bay/door) Flag-style door hinges for improved door and hinge field serviceability Magnetic door offers unique branding and promotional opportunities Sloped floor and drain with pop-up plug to facilitate cleaning. Smaller footprint saves space and is easy to move quickly and quietly through tight spaces. Designed to accommodate 1 tray per shelf, end-loaded. Constructed of durable, sanitary stainless steel to provide years of trouble-free meal delivery service. Adjustable tray ladders/ guides Interior stainless steel welded tube framing increases core strength and reduces cart noise. Contemporary door design with full-length door handle is great for any height employee. Long, ergonomic push handles for easy transport. Non-marking corner bumpers protect walls and surfaces. 2 wide stainless steel tray slides provides secure tray transport (ladder-style ledge panels). Full 270° door swing gives unobstructed access during loading and unloading of trays. Transport and vibration tested to IEC 60068-2-64.
