Description

The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity, Healthcare Contracting Division - West, Foxtrot Branch intends to make a sole source award to International Biomedical Ltd for a firm fixed-price contract for a quantity of two Infant Transport Incubators (NXTGEN) for Bassett Army Community Hospital, Alaska. The NAICS code of this procurement is 339113. The statutory authority permitting this award without providing full and open competition is RFO FAR 12.102-1(a). which authorizes the government to award contracts when there is only one responsible source and no other suppliers or services will satisfy agency requirements. This announcement fulfills the synopsis requirements under RFO FAR 5.101. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
