Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office (NCO 2), Buffalo, New York intends to solicit quotes from contractors to provide, install and maintain under lease agreement a Critical Water Treatment System - Reverse Osmosis (RO) for the Sterile Processing Services (SPS) at the Margaret Cochran Corbin (Manhattan) VA Medical Center, 423 E. 23rd St, New York, NY 10010 and Brooklyn VA Medical Center, 800 Poly Place, Brooklyn, NY 11209 under a single-award firm-fixed price contract. The VA anticipates issuing an RFQ for this requirement on or about June 1, 2026, to be posted to www.SAM.gov. This procurement will be solicited in accordance with FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services. Interested contractors will be responsible for downloading copies of the solicitation (and any subsequent amendments) from that website, and no hard copies will be made available. The solicitation will provide instructions to contractors about the quote submission process. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, perspective contractors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) at the time of submission of quotes. Contractors may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov. NAICS Code is 221310 - Water Supply and Irrigation Systems with a Small Business Size Standard of $41 Million. The classification code is W065 Lease or Rental of Equipment Medical, Dental and Veterinary Equipment and Supplies. The solicitation will be issued as a 100% set-aside for Small Business. All responsible sources may submit proposals to be considered by the Agency. General Description: The Contractor shall provide, install and maintain, under lease arrangement, a reverse osmosis critical water treatment system in the Sterile Processing Service (SPS) located at the Brooklyn VA Medical Center and Manhattan VA Medical Center. The system shall have a built-in means of redundancy, such that the backup system can be operated should the primary system be out of service. furnish all labor, materials, supervision, equipment, tools and incidentals necessary to perform the repairs and upgrades as specified in the Statement of Work (SOW) in the solicitation. Period of performance 7/1/2026-6/30/2027 with the provision of four (4) option years.
