Description
The U.S. Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources for warehouse, office, and outdoor storage space. The Government is seeking information on existing, available industrial properties, as well as properties capable of modification, redevelopment, or build-to-suit delivery, that may support warehouse, logistics, administrative office, outdoor storage, truck circulation, parking, and related mission operations. The anticipated requirement is for a facility where the Government can obtain single-tenant occupancy and operational control of the building, required outdoor yard, parking, circulation, and related site areas. Approximate requirements include 180,000 SF (5%) of total site area, approximately 35,000 to 45,000 SF of building area, and approximately 37,000 to 42,000 SF of mostly contiguous paved outdoor yard area. The Government is primarily interested in properties located within approximately a 30-mile radius of Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI), within approximately a 30-mile radius of Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD), within the greater Houston, Texas metropolitan area, or in other East Coast or Gulf Coast locations that provide direct or efficient access to major seaports and/or international airports. Properties do not need to meet all requirements as-is, provided they can reasonably be modified, improved, or configured to meet the Governments operational needs. Properties modestly outside the stated site, building, or yard size ranges may still be considered if they otherwise meet operational needs. This Sources Sought Notice / Request for Information (RFI) is issued for market research purposes only. It is not a solicitation, request for lease proposals, request for offers, invitation for bids, or commitment by the Government to lease, purchase, or otherwise acquire any property. Responses are due May 29, 2026, at 5:00 P.M. Eastern Time. See the attached RFI for detailed requirements and submission instructions. Questions or requests for additional information regarding this Sources Sought Notice / Request for Information (RFI) should be directed to the Government Point of Contact identified in this notice.
