Description
This solicitation is for the repair of a commercial off the shelf (COTS) item for the P8 aircraft. NSN: 1680 01-585-5262 P8 Name: FLAP SKEW DETECTION. QTY: 1 This solicitation will be using competitive procedures. This solicitation will be using competitive procedures. The Government intends to make a single award to the eligible, responsible, technically acceptable offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, results in the best value to the Government. Offers will be evaluated based on the factors of RTAT, price, and past performance, with RTAT being more important than price. The Government reserves the right to award the contract to other than the lowest priced offer. (1) Desired RTAT: 117 days after receipt of asset (2) Price. (3) Past Performance. The offeror's past performance on related contracts will be evaluated to determine, as appropriate, successful performance of contract requirements, quality and timeliness of delivery of goods and services, cost management communications between contracting parties, proactive management, and customer satisfaction. This requirement can only be procured from suppliers who provide FAA-Certified parts which possess a FAA Authorized Release Certificate, FAA Form 8130-3 Airworthy Approval Tag. All items shall be delivered with an authorized Release Certificate, FAA Form 8130-3, Airworthiness Approval Tag (reference FAA Order 8130.21G) or with acceptable FAA identifications for replacement articles described in reference FAA AC 20-62. WSS will not make any exceptions to this requirement.
