Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 8, intends to solicit and negotiate with Siemens Industry, Inc. for Building Automation and Control System Services to support the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system throughout the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center. Determination of this sole source procurement is in accordance with 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B), Only one source is capable of providing the� supplies� or services required at the level of quality required because the� supplies� or services are unique or highly specialized; It is the Government s belief that the proposed candidate is the only provider authorized to perform the maintenance for the existing platform and is the only manufacturer that can meet the agency s needs. The contractor shall furnish labor, parts, supplies and equipment necessary to provide scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, and periodic preventive maintenance inspections for the Building Automation and Control Systems located at the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center, 7305 North Military Trail, West Palm Beach, FL 33410. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available; telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any business that believe it can provide maintenance and support for the Siemens Building Automation and Control System may provide a written notice to Contract Specialist, John Quijada Jr via email at john.quijadajr@va.gov no later than Thursday February 26, 2026 @ 12:00PM (EST). Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. Responses will be considered by the Government; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based on the responses of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The applicable NAICS Code is 561210 and the size standard is $47 million. No telephone requests will be accepted.
