Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Talladega, intends to issue a solicitation 15B31326Q00000012 for the requirements of: three new replacement commercial gas water heaters and three storage tanks. New commercial gas water heaters to replace the current Lochinvar CWN0497PM. Water heaters must be no larger than the current equipment in place, with a minimum of 495,000 BTU/HR input, and a minimum 416,000 BTU/HR output. Energy-Efficient is preferable. New storage tanks to replace the current Lochinvar RJS120M tanks. Storage tanks must be no larger than the equipment in place and hold a minimum of 119 Gallons. Non-ASME tanks may be submitted for consideration. Supplier must also include estimated FOB Destination delivery time in their quotation. Deliveries will be made to Federal Correctional Institution, Talladega, 565 E Renfroe RD, Talladega, Alabama 35160. The contract type is firm-fixed price. The Government reserves the right upon award to make a formal single or multiple awards. The Government will make award to the responsible offer(s) whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, that are considered to be most advantageous to the Government, with past performance and price considered, price being rated higher than past performance. The solicitation will be made available on or about April 09, 2026, and will be posted to the SAM.gov website: www.sam.gov. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is April 23, 2026. Payments will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or via Government Purchase Card for awards of $15,000.00 or less. System updates may lag policy updates. The System for Award Management (SAM) may continue to require entities to complete representations based on provisions that are not included in this solicitation. Contracting officers will rely on representations from offers based on provisions in the solicitation.
