Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 6 intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed-price, contract to Staxi Corporation for Staxi Ranger Transport Chairs to be delivered to the Salem VA Medical Center located at 1970 Roanoke Blvd, Salem, VA 24153. This contract action is for products and services for which the Government intends to solicit from only one source under the authority of FAR 8.405.6 Only One Source. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 339113 (Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing) with a small business size standard of 800 Employees. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS The Department of Veterans Affairs, Salem VA Medical Center, intends to award a firm fixed price, single source purchase order to Staxi Corporation. The purpose of the order is to obtain Staxi Ranger Transport Chairs for the Salem VA Medical Center. Order to include the following: (P/N RA010-L-CC) Staxi Ranger Chairs (Staxi Blue)-Quantity 10 (P/N ST080) Ranger Rear Fitting O2 Tank Holder-Quantity 10 A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs associated with the preparation of responses to this notification.
