Description
This is a synopsis of a proposed contract action for the procurement of seminar services for the National Guard Bureau's (NGB) Homeland Security Institute (HSI), utilizing simplified procedures under FAR Subpart 13.5 for commercial services above the simplified acquisition threshold within certain limits. The contractor shall provide personnel, equipment, materials, and supervision, excluding government-furnished items. The HSI provides professional education to senior National Guard leaders on emergency management challenges, often in collaboration with academic institutions. The procurement seeks executive-level academic courses incorporating research, case studies, and discussions. Participants include strategic and operational leadership from the National Guard, intergovernmental partners, and others involved in emergency and crisis management. See the attached PWS for details. The Government contemplates the award of a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Single Award Task Order Contract (SATOC). This notice is for informational purposes only and does not constitute a request for proposal (RFP) or a commitment by the Government to award a contract.
