Description

This notice is for planning purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation is not ready for issuance at this time. The U.S. Embassy Singapore will post the RFQ on the System for Award Management (SAM) website when it becomes available. The Department of State, U.S. Embassy Singapore, anticipates a Request for Quotation for specialized residential cleaning services at the Chief of Mission Residence in Singapore. The anticipated performance period consists of one (1) base year with four (4) one-year option periods, subject to Government exercise of the options. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered. The Government may award a contract based on the initial quotations received, without discussions, if deemed appropriate. The resultant award is anticipated to be a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract. SAM Registration Requirement: All contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to submitting a quotation in accordance with FAR 52.204-7. Prospective vendors are strongly encouraged to register immediately if they are interested in submitting a response to this requirement. The guidelines for registration in SAM are also available at: https://www.fsd.gov/gsafsd_sp. Legal and Regulatory Requirements: Performance of this contract will take place in Singapore. Prospective vendors must possess all required local licenses, permits, and authorizations to operate legally in Singapore. Contractors will also be responsible for complying with all applicable local labor, safety, and tax laws, and must ensure that any such obligations are satisfied prior to contract performance. This acquisition will include DOSAR clause 652.242-73 � Authorization and Performance (AUG 1999). Electronic Submission/Responses: Electronic submission requirements will be specified in the RFQ when it is issued.
