UPDATE: 1/13/2026: An RFI has been posted related to this procurement (VLS006A) at the address: https://sam.gov/workspace/contract/opp/d8bdf78178fb4438a777f70ba5269b7a/view Note: This industry day is focused only on MK41 VLS launcher production. The MK 41 VLS Launcher Production Industry Day is scheduled from 10 March � 12 March 2026 commencing each day at 0900 Pacific Time at the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Port Hueneme Division (PHD), Port Hueneme, CA, Building 1386. The Industry Day will consist of a consolidated main session (Day 1) on 10 March 2026 with all interested industry participants. At the conclusion of the main session, the Navy intends to provide interested industry participants a tour of the NSWC PHD Surface Weapons Engineering Facility (SWEF) where participants will have an opportunity to view MK 41 VLS equipment and discuss technical questions with NSWC PHD MK 41 VLS Subject Matter Experts. Interested industry participants may also participate in one-on-one splinter meetings with Government representatives The request to register for a one-on-one session with Government representatives should be included with the Industry Day RSVP requirements cited below. The interested parties should provide a ranked list of preference for the 3 available days (March 10, 11, 12) for their splinter meetings in their RSVP request. The Government will make an effort to schedule these in accordance with that preference to the extent possible. NETWORKING: The interested parties should also specify if they would like their company name and a point of contact added to a list of attendees that will be provided to other interested parties for networking purposes. The Government will notify industry participants of the one-on-one session schedule by 18 February 2026. Interested parties are required to RSVP for Industry Day by close of business on 10 February 2026 via e-mail to: Mr. Matthew Hubbard, Contract Specialist, at matthew.r.hubbard2.civ@us.navy.mil, and cc: Mr. David Chamberlain, Procuring Contracting Officer, at david.s.chamberlain5.civ@us.navy.mil; and Ms. Bonnie Nguyen, at bonnie.t.nguyen.civ@us.navy.mil The RSVP shall include the following information: Subject line: "NAVSEA MK 41 VLS Launcher Industry Day RSVP�. Include the Point-of-Contact's name, telephone number, company, and Names of the attendees from interested company in the email. Interested parties are limited to six (6) attendees per respondent. Formal presentations are not required and recording devices are not permitted. Please see the attached Visitor�s information guide for directions to Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division and instructions to fulfill badge and base access requirements including the requirement to complete a SECNAV 5512-1 form. If you do not have a CAC, you are required to notify Ms. Bonnie Nguyen, the meeting POC (whom will need to sponsor you on the base; contact info above) and complete SECNAV 5512-1 (see attached form). Completed SECNAV 5512-1 must be submitted to the meeting POC by 16 February 2026 and bring it with you to the Pass and ID Office (located in BLDG 1183 adjacent to the Sunkist Gate). This will allow you to obtain a temporary pass on the first day of the meeting to enter the base. Limit six (6) attendees per company. Vehicles are subject to search and inspection. Upon review of the above Industry Day announcement, any questions or comments should be submitted to Mr. David Chamberlain, Procuring Contracting Officer, at david.s.chamberlain5.civ@us.navy.mil and Mr. Matthew Hubbard, Contract Specialist, at matthew.r.hubbard2.civ@us.navy.mil. The Government will not reimburse the cost of any submission in response to this announcement -- the entire cost of any submission will be at the sole expense of the source submitting the information. If a solicitation is issued in the future, it will be announced via https://beta.SAM.gov Contract Opportunities website. Interested parties must comply with the announcement. The Government will not reimburse respondents for expenditures associated with participation in Industry Day.
