Description

The Albuquerque Area Indian Health Service for Albuquerque Service Unit hereby submits a Notice of Intent to award a sole source, firm-fixed price, contract with one base year plus four option years for William Scotsman, Inc. to provide to the Purchased Referred Care Department of the Mescalero Service Unit located in Mescalero, NM, to be awarded to Williams Scotsman Inc, UEI: URUVKGK3FTV1. This request for a lease agreement is required for one (1) single-wide building that is already in use by the Mescalero Service Unit, with four (4) rooms to assist the Purchased Referred Care Department with additional office space. The lease will ADA access (ramps, doors, restroom) and at least one additional sink outside the restroom. Wipeable surfaces suitable for cleaning/disinfection (e.g. vinyl flooring, smooth walls, no clock or wood surfaces). Main entry/egress along one long (south-facing) side. Piers and tie downs for mounting and leveling on unpaved surface approximately 70�x24�. Skirting between the bottom of the modular building and the ground. Heating and cooling suitable for summer and winter conditions. This lease agreement is necessary to ensure the continuity of services without interruption in order to provide direct patient care in accordance with Accreditation standards and to minimize the risk of an unanticipated failure or security issue. The lease agreement will include preventive maintenance according to manufacturer�s recommendations, troubleshooting, service requests, providing original manufacturer�s replacement parts, and phone support. Period of Performance is for one base year plus four option years, as follows: Base Year: 10/18/2025 � 10/17/2026 1st Option Year: 10/18/2026 � 10/17/2027 2nd Option Year: 10/18/2027 � 10/17/2028 3rd Option Year: 10/18/2028 � 10/17/2029 4th Option Year: 10/18/2029 � 10/17/2030 The estimated total value is below the simplified acquisition threshold. The sole source contracting action is pursuing a waiver from placing an order on a competitive basis pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supply or service will satisfy agency requirements and is based on market research. Responses to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government, would not be cost or time prohibitive, and would not hinder the mission objective of agency. The determination not to compete the proposed action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received normally will be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred for responding to this notice. This is not a request for quotes or proposals.
