Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21 intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract to Guldmann, Inc. for the procurement and installation of Guldmann GH3+ ceiling lift tracks. This requirement includes installing tracks for 40 Guldmann lift units already owned by the VA and currently stored on site. Several areas within the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System (VASNHS) have been identified as underserved, including dialysis units experiencing evolving patient needs and Dental Services where spatial constraints limit the effectiveness of existing equipment. Additionally, peri surgical departments rely on gurneys that are incompatible with the current lift systems, demonstrating the need for upgraded and adaptable lifting infrastructure. This procurement is being conducted on behalf of the Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Acquisition, Logistics, and Construction (OALC), Regional Procurement Office West (RPOW), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21, in support of the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System (VASNHS). Vendor must be able to provide the documentation that demonstrates such aforementioned authority. The solicitation for this action will be posted to beta.sam.gov/GSA eBuy, and all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. After consideration, the Government will determine whether to proceed with the sole source acquisition.
