Description

This is a combined synopsis solicitation prepared in accordance with Revolutionary Federal Acquistion Regulation part 12.202. The Technology Acquisition Center intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Censis Technologies. Inc. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Censis has proprietary rights for this software and no other item(s) can fulfill the Governments requirement. (see attached sole-source justification). This acquisition is conducted under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1 entitled, �Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Require. This will be a firm fixed price contract for Symedical User licenses. North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 513210 with a business size standard of $47.0 Million. Any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer by the submission date provided in this posting. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. This evidence shall include a letter from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) stating vendor is an authorized service vendor per VAAR Clause 852.212-71(c). Information must be sent to the Contract Specialist. Responses received will be evaluated, however a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This acquisition is not set-aside for small business concerns. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. (ii) Line Items are provided in the enclosed Request for Proposal (RFP) Document in Section B.3 Price/Cost Schedule. (iii) See B.6 Requirements for the product description. (iv) Dates and places of delivery and f.o.b point are provided in the enclosed RFP document. (v) Solicitation provisions that apply to the acquisition are provided in Section E of the enclosed RFP document. (vi) Contract clauses that apply to the acquisition are provided in Section C of the enclosed RFP document. (vii) Responses to this combined synopsis solicitation should be emailed no later than 2/3/2026 at 10AM EST to the Contract Specialist Nicholas Fry Sandoval at Nicholas.Fry2@va.gov and the Contracting Officer, Stefanie Applegate at Stefanie.Applegate@va.gov.
