Description
The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), Eastern Ecological Science Center (EESC), intends to award a non-competitive purchase order to Brooks Applied Labs (Brooks), located in Lake Forest Park, Washington, for the metals analysis of fish muscle tissue samples within the detection limits of As (0.002 mg/kg), Cd (0.002 mg/kg), Pb (0.002 mg/kg), and Hg (0.003 mg/kg). The analyses are to be delivered to Kearneysville, West Virginia within one year from the date the contractor receives the purchase order. There are no option periods. Brooks is the is the only contractor that can provide the analysis service of all required metals (As, Cd, Pb, and Hg) within the minimum detection limits required (As = 0.03 mg/kg, Cd = 0.11 mg/kg, Pb = 0.03, Hg = 0.008) at a single facility. In accordance with Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) 5.101(c)(4)(vi), all responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency, however, THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. The Government intends to award this requirement noncompetitively in accordance with RFO 12.102(a). Responses must be emailed to Daniel (Dan) Galvin at daniel_galvin@ios.doi.gov. Reference number 140G0126Q0107 in the email subject line. The NAICS code is 541380 Testing Laboratories and Services. The size standard is $19 million. The anticipated award date is 05/31/2026. The anticipated contract will be firm fixed-price. A vendor must be registered at https://www.sam.gov to be awarded the purchase order.
