Description
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Mount Weather Emergency Operations Center (MWEOC) located at 19844 Blue Ridge Mountain Road, Bluemont, VA 20135 is identifying potential providers to perform Fire Suppression Maintenance in accordance with NFPA 13, NFPA 17, NFPA 2001, and NFPA 25 standards for Semi-Annual, Annual and Long-term intervals (5-20 years) for testing, inspection and Maintenance of our current systems. MWEOC has (76) active Wet-sprinkler systems, (4) Commercial grade Kitchen Hood Ansul-based systems, (3) Small Kitchen Hood Ansul-based Systems, (2) Dry-sprinkler Systems, (8) Pre-Action Systems, (1) Paint Booth Clean Agent System and (1) Foam-based Suppression System. The MWOEC also has (6) fire pumps that require Annual testing, inspection, and maintenance. Contractors should have all apllicable certifications required for performing such tasks and are also required to hold an ACTIVE fully adjudicated Top-Secret Clearance to perform this contract. This includes personnel and any subcontractors. FEMA will not sponser a firm's application for a clearance. Potential vendors shall submit a capabilites statement including previous and active contracts that are similar to work requested. The capability statements shall describe the experience, including tasks performed,period of performance, and dollar amount. Vendors shall state if they have an ACTIVE TS clearance. Vendors shall state whether if they are a Small Business as defined by the SBA. If they are a considered a Small Business any socioeconomic status category. responses shall be sent electronically to matthew.raible@fema.dhs.gov.
