This announcement and the attached solicitation document constitute the solicitation; proposals are being requested. Description of Requirement The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) has a requirement for a Firm-Fixed-Price contract to provide all supervision, labor, equipment, and supplies for the comprehensive operations and maintenance (O&M) of the Electric Dispersal Barrier System (EDBS) located on the Chicago Sanitary and Ship Canal (CSSC) in Romeoville, IL. Period of Performance:Base Period of 12 months, plus three (3) 12-month Option Periods.Place of Performance:Chicago Sanitary and Ship Canal (CSSC), Romeoville, IL 3. Submission Deadlines Questions Due:All questions must be submitted via email to the points of contact below no later than 7 January 2026 at 1:00 PM Central Time.Proposals Due:Proposals must be submitted via email to the points of contact below no later than 15 January 2026 at 1:00 PM Central Time. 4. Basis for Award The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, with price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers as stated in the FAR 52.212-2 Addendum: Price and Past Performance. Technical and past performance, when combined, are equal. 5.
