Description
THE WORK CONSISTS OF: Contractor shall include all labor, equipment, tools, and materials to demolish, remove, dispose of the existing roof components and install a new roof on the administration office building in accordance with this statement of work at the Cape Cod Canal, Bourne, MA. The administration building has (2) roof types, consisting of approximately 8000 square feet of asphalt shingles and approximately 1200 square feet of Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) flat roof system. The new asphalt roof system shall be installed with asphalt laminated shingles, minimum 360 pounds per square, with a manufacturer's standard 25 year warranty. The new EPDM roof system shall be a fully adhered 90 mil nominal thickness with a manufacturer's standard 30 year warranty. Work includes providing new facia trim boards, soffit trim boards, aluminum gutter system, perimeter aluminum drip edge flashing, chimney restoration, replacing (3) existing roof top exhaust fans, replacing (2) existing fresh air intakes, remove and reinstall existing lightning protection system, and cleaning out the existing gutters. This procurement is set-aside for small business vendors. The applicable NAICS code is 238160 with a Small Business Size Standard of $19 Million. ALL VENDORS MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE REGISTRATION IN SAM.GOV AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED. ANY VENDOR THAT DOES NOT HAVE AN ACTIVE SAM.GOV REGISTRATION WILL BE REJECTED AS NON RESPONSIVE.
