Description

The 355th Contracting Squadron intends to issue a sole-source procurement action for the procurement of the following services: Repair and maintenance of the following Atlas Copco Equipment as described below: GA 22 VSD Serial No. API891525 GA 22 VSD Serial No. API892146 BAP 71 Serial No. GJGW-010034 The contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, supervision, tools, materials, and equipment required to perform comprehensive corrective and preventive maintenance on the identified equipment The primary objective is to return the Breathable Air Compressors (BAC) and Breathing Air Purifier (BAP) systems to full operational capability, ensuring it reliably produces certified Grade E breathable air in accordance with all applicable safety standards and manufacturer specifications. The scope of work includes the following tasks: � Scheduled Maintenance: The contractor shall perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) actions as specified by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM). This includes, at a minimum, the replacement of all scheduled filtration media, lubrication, and inspection of all system components. � System Diagnostics and Repair: The contractor shall conduct a complete diagnostic inspection of the BAC system to identify the cause of an existing operational fault. It is presumed that this fault is a direct result of the PM. Upon government approval of the diagnosis and repair plan, the contractor shall execute all necessary repairs to restore the system to its original performance specifications. All services must be performed in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications by certified technicians. All parts should be genuine OEM parts. This requirement is accomplished in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b) �Soliciting from a single source�. Atlas Copco is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the abovementioned equipment. The OEM has not identified any third-party authorized distributors or servicers of their equipment. This is a notice of intent to award a BRAND NAME, sole-source procurement action under NAICS 333912 and is not a request for competitive proposals. Firms who want to challenge this sole source action must submit an interest letter that demonstrates your firm�s ability to provide for this Brand Name Requirement. Interested parties must provide rationale as to why they should be considered. All interested firms must respond by Tuesday, 13 January 2026 at 7:00AM MST to Contracting Officer Patricia Murray at email: patricia.murray.6@us.af.mil or phone (520)228-3095. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct competitive procurement. The 355th Contracting Office will not reimburse for any costs connected with providing the capability information.
