The Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with BAE Systems Technology Solutions & Services, Inc. (BAE) (CAGE 99789), of Rockville, MD, for technical engineering and integrated facilities acquisition & engineering (FA&W) services in support of the Nuclear-armed, Sea-Launched Cruise Missile (SLCM-N) Program. This acquisition is being pursued under the sole source basis under the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements; therefore, a solicitation is not available for this procurement. Primary work locations are Washington, DC, Bangor, WA, and Kings Bay, GA. The Period of Performance is a one-year base with a one-year option for a total of 24 months (if SSP exercises all Options). SSP will publicize an award notice. SSP estimates awarding this contract in June 2025, and the applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 541330. The applicable Product Service Code is R425 (Support- Professional: Engineering/Technical). THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The proposed contract action is for services for which SSP intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302, however, SSP will consider all responses received within fifteen (15) days of the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by SSP not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of SSP. SSP will normally consider information received as a result of the notice of intent solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
