Description

This is a sources sought announcement only. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified potential offerors. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources sought synopsis request. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. The Durham Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) located in Durham, NC is seeking potential sources capable of performing AHU24 steam coil replacement services. The NAICS code for this procurement is 238220 Plumbing, Heating, Air-Conditioning Contractors: Size standard $19.0M. Statement of Work: The Contractor shall provide all transportation, materials, parts, tools, specialized equipment, labor, supervision, quality control, and technical expertise to procure, remove and replace the heating coils for AHU24 in the Warehouse, Building 1, B-wing. This is a turn-key request with the Contractor providing all the parts and performing all the work. Remove steam/heating hot water coils from AHU24. Procure new Steam Coils. Install new steam/heating hot water coils in AHU24. Let steam/heating hot water flow through the coils and check for leaks and operation. Repair leaks and/or operation as needed after coils installed and system is brought online. Coordinate all work with COR and Operations Supervisor. Responses to this sources sought notice should include the following: name and address of company, business size (large or small); identify whether or not firm falls into any of the following socioeconomic categories-8(a), HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned, Veteran-Owned; provide a brief description of qualifications and any other pertinent information, which demonstrates the ability to meet the above requirement. Subject line must reflect: Steam Coil Replacement Sources Sought . All responses shall be submitted in writing no later than 5:00 PM EST on Friday, April 17 to the attention of: Rachel Watkins at Rachel.Watkins2@va.gov .
