Notice of Intent to Sole Source - Spare Material, Parts, and Training of Reverse Osmosis Water Purification Unit (ROWPU)

Description

The 35th Contracting Office at Misawa Air Base, Japan intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of DAFFARS 5313.501 - 10 U.S.C. 3572, Implementation of Simplified Acquisition Procedures (41 U.S.C. 1901). The associated NAICS code for this is 333310. The sole-source contract will be awarded to: ELW GLOBAL UK LTD (hereby the proposed vendor): OX9 THAME, 13 Upper High Street Thame, Oxfordshire OX9 3ER United Kingdom CAGE Code: U26R5 The proposed vendor is the only known vendor to provide material, parts and training for the existing ELW 2K Reverse Osmosis Water Purification Unit (ROWPU). The existing ROWPU was procured by PO No. FA520524P0041 in Sep 24 in Misawa Air Base, and its spare material, parts and refresher training is required. Description of Requirement: Acquisition of spare material, parts and training of ROWPU Items to be procured are as follows: - Two (2) Pre-Treatment filter with coconut shell Carbon - One (1) Generator starter Assembly - Four (4) Economix 933 - Four (4) Centaur Catalytic/Absorptive Carbon - Four (4) BIRM - Twelve (12) RO Vessel for ELW 2K ROWPU - Refresher Training 5 Days Course - Shipping Fee It is the Government's belief that only the proposed candidate possesses the required capabilities to successfully meet this requirement due to its compatibility with the existing system. It is the Government's intention to solicit and negotiate with only this source.
