The replacement must be Form, Fit, Function, and Interface equivalent at the Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) level and meet all legacy SCRIU Operational Safety, Suitability, and Effectiveness (OSS&E) requirements, including Nuclear Certification. No aircraft hardware or software modifications shall be required to utilize the replacement SCRIU. Both Non-Developmental Items and new development items will be considered. The Government expects to be able to provide some limited data on the existing SCRIU. But, this data is not expected to be sufficient for build-to-print or build-to-spec purposes. Additional existing knowledge or technical analysis of physical SCRIU assets and interfacing sub-systems, such as the F-16 Modular Mission Computer, will be required to successfully meet the scope of this potential effort. However, the Government highly encourages both traditional and non-traditional defense contractors to attend as the Government looks to encourage teaming and focus on innovative solutions. Industry day will be held 25 June 2019. Sign in will begin at 8:30 Mountain Time.
