Office of Naval Research � Navy Manufacturing Technology (ManTech) Program�s Special Broad Agency Announcement (sBAA) Industry Day � Accelerating Maritime Modernization: Innovation in Naval Manufacturing, Sustainment, and Industrial Base Capability Who: Industry professionals seeking to do business with the Office of Naval Research � Navy ManTech Program What: The Office of Naval Research (ONR) � Navy ManTech Program plans to conduct an Industry Day to engage the naval manufacturing community in an open forum on its special Broad Agency Announcement (sBAA) on Special Broad Agency Announcement (sBAA) Industry Day � Accelerating Maritime Modernization: Innovation in Naval Manufacturing, Sustainment, and Industrial Base Capability. This sBAA aims to address manufacturing opportunities to facilitate applied research and advanced technology development that enhance naval platform manufacturing and sustainment with the goal of improving speed and throughput of next-generation naval platform manufacturing and sustainment. Presentation topics are intended to inform industry of the sBAA goals and intentions regarding the development of manufacturing and sustainment technologies that support Navy Golden Fleet platforms, including new battleship [BBG(X)/BBGN], next generation frigate [FF(X)], unmanned surface vessels, and associated combat systems. Presentations and discussions topics will include sBAA overview, timeline, and requirements.
