Frederick, MD 21703 The Department of Veteran s Affairs, Strategic Acquisition Office is issuing this notice of intent to sole source to Unison Virtual Acquisition Office LLC, 21251 RIDGETOP CIR, Dulles, VA, 20166-6644, for professional support services to provide the VA acquisition workforce with the development and maintenance of innovative Acquisition Knowledge Portal (AKP) tools, systems, and resources. DescriptionPull a little more from the PWS if possible. The vendors will want to know what this means. : The VA requires a specialized solution to enhance the functionality of its knowledge portal. This enhancement involves utilizing Unison's proprietary technology, which seamlessly supports existing VA systems and provides unique capabilities that are critical for the efficient management of knowledge resources. This acquisition is for professional support services to provide the VA acquisition workforce with the development and maintenance of innovative Acquisition Knowledge Portal (AKP) tools, systems, and resources. The development and maintenance of innovative Acquisition Knowledge Portal (AKP) tools, systems, and materials, and resources provide the VA acquisition workforce with the latest innovative technology, such as artificial intelligence and robotic process automation (RPA), to eliminate repetitive acquisition tasks throughout the acquisition lifecycle; thus, producing more efficiency, reliable data systems and data for decision making to the acquisition process. The AKP will be the hub that integrates various data systems, regulatory requirements, internal policies, guidance, and instructions, enhances oversight capabilities, and include collaboration rooms for the acquisition community --- specifically for / specific to Program/Project Managers (P/PM), Contracting Officers (CO), Contract Specialist (CS) and Contracting Officer s Representatives (COR) roles and responsibilities. Acquisition Management is a strategic enabler and is a critical component to successfully address VA modernization efforts -- targeted focus on various functional areas collaborating across the enterprise and ensuring compliance with federal acquisition reform initiatives. Performance Period The period of performance under this contract is 4 Years (one 12-month base plus three 12-month option periods), beginning September 29, 2025, through September 28, 2029. This is not a request for competitive proposals and a solicitation will not be issued. A determination not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information submitted in response to this notice will be used solely to determine whether competitive procedures could be used for this acquisition.
