Description
The 42nd Contracting Squadron, 50 S. LeMay Plaza, Bldg. 804, Maxwell Air Force Base (AFB), AL has a requirement to procure Mold Removal and Remediation services for the Civil Air Patrol (CAP). This ls a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this procurement ls F2XTA96146AW01. This solicitation document and incorporated clauses and provisions ( see Attachment 2) are those ln effect ln accordance with the Revolutionary Federal Acquisition Regulation Overhaul (RFO) and Revolutionary Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (R-DFARS). SITE VISIT: A site visit is scheduled for the addresses reflected in the Place of Performance section above on Tuesday, 23 June 2026, at 10:00 AM Central Daylight Time (CDT). Offerors should be at the Maxwell Blvd Gate, Visitor�s Center at Maxwell AFB, AL at 09:30 AM CDT to receive a visitor�s pass. Please provide a list of all attendees and ensure they have their valid STAR driver�s license, proof of vehicle insurance, and vehicle registration. All attendees� names will need to be submitted by Monday, 22 June 2026, at 12:00 PM CDT. In addition to the attendees name (as reflected on their driver�s license), include title and a telephone number for each individual. Submit the requested information to A1C Gabriel Col�n Salda�a, gabriel.colon_saldana@us.af.mil and Katrice Barganier, katrice.barganier@us.af.mil. Offerors are encouraged to visit the site and take steps as may be reasonably necessary to ascertain the nature and location of work and the general and local conditions that can affect the work or cost thereof. Failure to do so will not relieve offerors from the responsibility for estimating properly the difficulty or cost of successfully performing the work. The Government will assume no responsibility for any understanding or representation concerning conditions made by any of its officers or agents prior to the execution of the contract, unless included in this solicitation, the specification, or related documents. All pertinent questions shall be submitted by e-mail on Thursday, 25 June 2026 by 01:30 PM CDT. This amendment extends the solicitation due date from Saturday, 28 June 2025 to Tuesday, 7 July 2026. The extension provides the 42d Contracting Squadron additional time to issue further amendments addressing vendor questions, supply updated information and revisions to the Statement of Work, and, if necessary, schedule a second site visit. This Second Amendment extends the solicitation due date from Tuesday, 7 July 2026 to Tuesday, 14 July 2026 at 1:00 PM CDT; attached are the Amended Mold Remediation Statement of Work, Floor Plan with Highlights, HVAC System & Details, and Mold Remediation Vendor Q&A; technical questions related to this requirement will be accepted through Wednesday, 8 July 2026 at 1:00 PM CDT; no additional site visits are anticipated at this time, please monitor the solicitation for any subsequent amendments. This Third Amendment provides further answers to some of the technical questions related to this solicitation. No other changes were made.
