Description
The 7th Contracting Squadron (7 CONS) at Dyess Air Force Base (AFB), TX, intends to award a firm-fixed-price sole source purchase order to Phillips Corporation, under the statutory authority permitting Other Than Full and Open Competition. The anticipated authority is RFO 6.103-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Requirement Overview: The objective of this procurement is to acquire services for the inspection and maintenance for five specific Computer Numerical Cutting (CNC) machines. The specific pieces of equipment are: � Haas Machining Center UMC-750SS � Haas CNC VF-4SS � Haas CNC VR-8 � Haas CNC TL2 � OMAX Waterjet 60120/30V Justification for Sole Source: Market research indicates that Phillips Corporation is the only responsible source that possesses the manufacturer authorization letters necessary to safely service the equipment and maintain the warranty. Both HAAS Automation, Inc and OMAX Corpation have certified that Phillips Corporation, Inc. is the exclusive distributer of HAAS and OMAX CNC Machine Tools and any associated factory-certified service, training, and applications work for United States Federal Government facilities. The Government will consider all responses received by the deadline of July 31, 2026, at 2:00 PM CST. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action is solely at the discretion of the Government.
