QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS TO THE AIR FRESHNER We are performing independent research on the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (36C24726Q0535). We would like to know if this is a brand-new contract OR if there is (was) an incumbent performing these services. This is a brand-new contract/No If not brand new, could you please provide the current / previous contract number?/ None The solicitation mentions services for up to 70 locations ; however, could you please confirm the following: Total number of dispensers currently installed /0 Number of dispensers per restroom/location / 1 Whether the 70 locations represent restroom areas or individual dispenser units/ restroom areas If an inventory list or building/location breakdown is available/ not presently/The Vendor will do a walk through with facility after the award. Could you provide a list of the specific restroom locations covered under this contract? /not presently/The Vendor will do a walk through with facility after the award. 8. Could you please confirm the required frequency of restroom air freshener servicing under this contract? Monthly or as needed/ unless cans empty sooner Approximately how many dispenser units are currently required within the up to 70 locations referenced in the solicitation?/1 Are existing air freshener systems/dispenser types currently installed at the facility, or will this be a completely new installation?/This will be a new installation. Is the Government requesting a specific brand or type of air freshener/dispenser system, or are equivalent commercial healthcare-grade systems acceptable? The cans are odor neutralizers containing metazene. Metazene neutralizes odors at the molecular level without masking. What is the expected refill/service frequency for the locations? Monthly/unless cans empty sooner Are all service locations located on the main WJB Dorn campus, or are satellite clinic locations included under this requirement?/ WJB Dorn campus Can you provide how many stalls are in each restroom/location?� / not presently/The Vendor will do a walk through with facility after the award There are no specifications published concerning the equipment the VA requests to be installed. Can the VA clarify make/model/dimensions/color/etc of the air fresheners that are desired? The cans are odor neutralizers containing metazene. Metazene neutralizes odors at the molecular level without masking. Will the VA promulgate a list of restrooms where this equipment is to be installed? Yes, once award is given, the Vendor will do a walk through with facility after the award.
